Our mission is for people to Know Jesus.

People come to know Jesus through evangelism. By hearing the good news about Jesus Christ!

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” –Matthew 28:19

“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news!” –Romans 10:13-15

Our mission is for people to Love Jesus.

Once we come to Know Jesus, we desire to grow in our faith. We love Jesus more and more through discipleship.

“Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” –Matthew 22:37-38

“We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.” –Colossians 1:9-10

Our mission is for people to Be Like Jesus.

The more we love Jesus, the more we will have a desire to be like Jesus, loving others and doing kingdom work.

“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us…” –Ephesians 5:1-2

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” –Ephesians 2:10

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” –John 15:12

“Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” –1 John 2:6

Statement of Beliefs

  • We believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God, written without error and preserved throughout history.

  • We believe God exists in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-the Trinity.

    God is the creator of this world and the entire universe. God, because of His incredible love for us, sent Jesus Christ into the world to save us by His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead.

  • We believe that Jesus was both God and man. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He showed us the character of God in His life and teaching. He performed miracles exactly as described in the four gospels.

    He was crucified, died as the penalty for our sins, and was raised from the dead on the third day. He returned to heaven to be the head of the church, where He is continually working on our behalf.

    He is coming again.

  • We believe man’s relationship with God was broken by sin. We can be restored to a relationship with God only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Apart from Jesus, man remains separated from God and is ultimately condemned, without hope of eternal life. This salvation is based on God’s grace, not our efforts.

    God invites us to accept His gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

    This process of receiving salvation has the following essential elements:

    • Turning away from sinful choices (a process called repentance).

    • Publicly acknowledging Jesus as your Lord (a process called confession).

    • Being baptized symbolizes dying to your old life and rising to new life in Jesus, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (we practice baptism by immersion).

    • Committing to living a life surrendered to the will of God.

  • The Holy Spirit lives in the life of a Christian as God’s promise and seal of salvation.

    The Christian grows in spiritual maturity through obedience to God’s word, being guided by the Holy Spirit.

    At death, the Christian’s spirit departs to spend eternity in heaven.
